A marine biophysical inventory was completed at four ferry terminals associated with the Vancouver Island - Denman Island - Hornby Island ferry crossings in support of the BC Ferries (BCFS) feasibility study. Key Features: - Intertidal foot surveys and towed underwater video surveys covering the marine environment from the high water mark to the 30m-depth contour
- Identification of valued and sensitive marine features
- Consideration of suitable northern abalone habitat and presence
- Preliminary identification of potential environmental issues associated with the proposed project
