Archipelago provided environmental monitoring services for the Department of National Defence’s F-Jetty Colwood Facility Upgrade Project located on the west side of Esquimalt Harbour. The project involved dredging of soft and hard substrate, blasting of bedrock outcrops, and offloading of dredged material for offsite disposal
Key Features:
- Daily inspection of mitigation measures (turbidity nets, soil erosion control measures, air curtain) for effective functioning
- Monitoring of turbidity within dredge area relative to adjacent areas
- Daily monitoring reports and communication with contractor and client
