| Description: |
Archipelago’s Electronic Monitoring (EM) Program is seeking a motivated individual to assemble discrete electronic and mechanical components, sensors and subassemblies into finished products under the direction of the Product Manager.

| Duties: |

| Qualifications: |
- Good hand dexterity
- Excellent soldering skills including:
- Connector assembling (solder pot)
- Cable splicing
- Macro-scale circuit board soldering (limited)
- Proven ability to understand and follow assembly diagrams
- Familiarity with multi-meter use (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter)
- Experience with electronic and chassis assembly hand tools
- Experience with crimping tools (Molex, Amp, Klein etc.)
- Familiarity with simple component test procedures
- Experience installing components into metal chassis structures
- An eye for quality and pride in your work
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: - Machine shop skills IE: drilling, sanding, chassis assembling, measurement tools
- Experience in quality control and assessment
- Personal Computer skills; hardware and software components
- Knowledge of inventory techniques
- Experience with waterproof electrical splices
