Archipelago is a services and technology company and our Technical Services Division (TSD) plays a pivotal role through development and integration of technology and software into its products and services.

Current projects under development including the expansion and redevelopment of critical fisheries monitoring tools, will be critical to the company’s plans for internationalization and expanded deployment of our award-winning monitoring technologies. These projects will form the corner stone for defining the company’s current growth and development strategy.

We are looking for an individual with strong initiative, desire to learn, and excellent design/implementation skills to join our development team. Benefits include:

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years experience in software development
• 2 years experience using .NET (C#)
• Strong problem solving skills and desire to learn
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Desire to produce high-quality applications that meet users’ needs

DESIRABLE:

• Experience with any enterprise tools such as Spring, Hibernate, MS CAB, SVN, UML, Workflow, unit testing, refactoring, mock object testing, or similar technologies.
• GUI design patterns knowledge
• Experience with MS Dynamics or other ERP systems
• User Interface design experience
• Experience with MS Access systems
