Chelsea Bassanese

Chelsea received her BSc in Environmental Science from McGill University where she was fortunate enough to study glaciology in Antarctica and hunt for dinosaurs in the Canadian badlands.  From there she spent 2 years as a lab tech preparing fossils for research and display.  Upon moving to BC she found a job at a senior’s residence where she learned of her enthusiasm for customer service, finance, and admin; she later took over doing payroll and became a manager.  She joined Archipelago’s wonderful finance team in 2022.  When she’s not at work she can be found hiking, photographing nature, and searching for the natural & human history of Vancouver Island.
