Erin Kydd
Erin Kydd, BSc (Hons), PhD, has an extensive background in research, with a focus during her academic career on behavioural ecology and Australian native freshwater fish. Since completing her doctorate, she has contributed to several research teams across various ecological disciplines, developing strong expertise in data analysis, species identification, and the interpretation of ecological datasets.
Erin has been part of AAP since 2015, where she plays a key role in training staff in the use of the Archipelago suite of software and supporting the integration of data outputs into effective fisheries management practices. Her ability to translate complex ecological data into practical, operational insights is a valued asset within the team.
Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly gardening and managing her horse property, where she combines her love of animals and the natural environment.
