Steven Fowler

Steven is an engineer and scientist with more than 15 years of experience developing and leading complex projects for organisations ranging from start-ups to large multinationals. He has also consulted for clients worldwide and holds a master’s degree in engineering and a PhD in biosensors.

In this role, Steven will support the Fisheries Management Services team by providing operational leadership, championing process optimisation, overseeing multiple programs, strengthening financial governance, and developing the team.

Originally from the UK, Steven moved to Victoria to be closer to extended family. Outside work, he enjoys fishing with his son (who usually catches more) along with camping and paddleboarding. He is also passionate about martial arts, travel, and discovering foods from other cultures.
