Steps to Get up and Running
REQUEST A UNIT
Complete the FishVue LIME registration form to request your no-cost LIME unit. Click HERE.
GET APPROVED
Your information will be reviewed by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife to determine if you qualify for a no-cost lime unit as part of this program.
If you are approved, you will receive an email from the state confirming your approval. At the same time, Archipelago will ship your LIME unit to the address you provided during the registration process.
WAIT FOR IT TO ARRIVE
Approximately 7-10 days later you will receive your LIME unit. In the box will be all the instructions on how to get your unit installed and activated.
INSTALL YOUR LIME UNIT
We will provide a list of certified installers in your region to install your LIME unit, or you can self-install. We will provide all the details you need to make this simple and efficient.
SUBSCRIBE TO A DATA PLAN
Once the unit is installed on your vessel you will return to the Archipelago online store where you will create an account and subscribe to a LIME Data Plan. This plan will activate your unit and allow it to deliver data from your vessel back to shore. The CDFW is covering the cost of the data plan this season, so there is no cost to the license holder.
GO FISHING!
Once you have verified your LIME unit is transmitting data, you are ready to go fishing. If at any time you have issues with your LIME system or questions about the device, you can reach us at techsupport@archipelago.ca
