Steps to Get up and Running
WAIT FOR YOUR LIME UNIT TO ARRIVE
Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) will provide Archipelago with a list of eligible license holders that qualify for a no-charge FishVue LIME unit. Starting in early November, Archipelago will begin shipping units to those license holders. If you want to inquire about getting on the list, please reach out to WDFW directly at coastal.crab.EM@dfw.wa.gov or (360) 249-4628.
When your LIME unit arrives, all the instructions on how to get your unit installed and activated will be included in the box.
INSTALL YOUR UNIT
We will provide a list of certified installers in your region to install your LIME unit, or you can self-install. We will provide all the details you need to make this simple and efficient.
SUBSCRIBE TO A DATA PLAN
Once the unit is installed on your vessel you will return to the Archipelago online store where you will create an account and subscribe to a LIME Data Plan. This plan will activate your unit and allow it to deliver data from your vessel back to shore.
GO FISHING!
Once you have verified your LIME unit is transmitting data, you are ready to go fishing. If at any time you have issues with your LIME system or questions about the device, you can reach us at techsupport@archipelago.ca
