Cole Rader

Cole completed a B.Sc. in Biology and Oceanography at the University of British Columbia. He started working on ShoreZone shortly after as a biologist. Cole has imaged over 16,000km of shoreline in BC, NB, NS, and Alaska. He has classified intertidal species assemblages and created habitat polygons for eelgrass beds, salt marshes and kelp forests. He joined Archipelago in 2026 with the integration of the ShoreZone program. 

In his free time, Cole enjoys playing sports, walking by the ocean or reading a book.
