Klara Moon

Klara recently completed her undergrad in Marine Biology with a minor in Statistics. She has always loved the ocean and biology, and pretty early on in her degree realized that a lot of biology really comes down to statistical analysis, so she figured she should become more familiar with that side of things too. Her degree taught her just how much there is left to explore in the ocean, and how connected it is to our everyday lives in ways we don’t always realize.

She joined Archipelago in May 2026 supporting our geoduck, shrimp, salmon and groundfish programs. Outside of work, she loves being at the beach tidepooling or sea glass hunting, pottery, and a good book in the sun.
