Sean Daley

Sean has over twenty years of experience working in the coastal environment in BC, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Alaska, Florida, South Carolina, Washington, and the Canadian Arctic. He has been involved in and led many marine projects and programs including the ShoreZone Coastal Habitat Mapping program, Seabed Imagery surveys, Oil Spill Response programs, aerial surveys, Shoreline Clean Up programs (SCAT), and Arctic Oceanography programs. Sean has experience in database management, project management and geographic information systems.


He grew up in Ottawa, Ontario, and has lived in Victoria, British Columbia for the last twenty-five years. While not at work, he enjoys getting outdoors with friends and family. Sean values being part of a team that helps preserve, protect, and understand the health of our coastal ecosystems.

In his free time Sean likes to surf, mountain bike, soccer, and loves travelling.
