Shelby Luco

Shelby grew up in Victoria and brings a BSc. from UVic majoring in Marine Biology. She also worked in the Biology department as a teaching assistant for labs. She is registered as a Biologist in Training with the College of Applied Biology in BC and has been involved with various field research experiences including sockeye salmon stock assessments for DFO (by white water raft!) on the Stellako River, researching marine biodiversity off the coast of Baffin Island, and working as a risk-assessment forecaster for the oyster aquaculture industry
